Meet our new team member: Edy!

Can you introduce yourself, what’s your name, how old are you and where are you from?

My name is Edi Hasaj, and I am a Software Engineer working for Scriptix. I am 26 years old, and I come from Kosovo.

Can you share a bit more about your professional background?

I graduated from business administration and master’s in computer science and engineering. I chose these fields of study because I’ve always been interested in Software Engineering and the new era of technology and a little bit of Entrepreneurship. My objective was always to have a challenging and managerial role in the field of computer programming and using my experience gained in this field to create complex projects with efficiency and quality. I worked in different types of technologies throughout my life that range from Web technologies, Desktop technologies, Mobile technologies, Artificial Intelligence, and Internet of Things. I’ve created projects for Ministries and Municipalities, big companies as well as small companies and individuals, from this I’ve gain a great level of experience to better understand user requirements and implement the best possible solution.

What do you like best about working with Scriptix?

I love working here because everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission, this truly creates a family environment where everybody is there for each other. My current job has been a perfect professional-level role. I was able to communicate with the creative team right after starting here, and I keep leaning so much from them. The company has great special services to offer that are unique, which has encouraged me to embrace a team spirit that I think has been helpful to me personally. Here at Scriptix the team helps to maintain great level of trust, which keeps me engaged and excited, but at the same time, I love that my job enables me to love and enjoy my other passions in life.

What is/are your favorite way(s) to spend spare time, do you have any hobbies?

Usually, I like to read books that are not related to software engineering, but sometimes I cannot escape the good feeling for learning new things that help me improve in my career. Most of the books I read are autobiographies and non-fiction books. Other than that, I love swimming and I swim a lot every day, this helps me to keep my health and body in good condition and have some time to be focused and think clearly about my current challenges.
